Full Characters Required

is our character development workshop. We focus on crafting three dimensional characters using a multitude of tools. We have specific programs like our Dickens Festival Workshop; our A Connection with Literature and the Art of Acting Workshop; as well as our Beginners Character Workshop; our Advanced Character Workshop and our Tiny - Beanie Character Workshop. (available for all age groups 7-10, 11-13, 13-17 and adults)

Please NOT Onstage

is a workshop for those who prefer to be backstage and Not onstage. In this workshop we present the various opportunities there are in theatre to work backstage; from running crew, lighting, sound to stage management. This workshop provides basic training required to start working for the local theatres. Internships may be available; please inquire if interested in an internship upon completion of this workshop. (available for age groups 10-13, 13-17 and adults)

Storytelling / Writing Workshop

is our workshop for development of ideas, storytelling and writing. This workshop is specifically designed for writers and those who enjoy storytelling. Participants actually write a story or play collectively during the course of the workshop. This workshop culminates with a reading and/or performance of the story or play written. (available for all age groups 5-7, 7-10, 11-13, 13-17 and adults)

Audition Workshop

is our workshop to assist newbies to auditioning to veterans with auditioning. Providing headshot do’s and don’ts, information on building audition portfolios, audition etiquette, references to industry sources, resume building and audition materials. (available for all age groups 7-10, 11-13, 13-17 and adults)

Confidence & Self-Esteem Development
Through the Arts

is our workshop seeing to nurture the body, mind and soul and in turn promote confidence, self awareness, cooperative learning, discipline, enhance self esteem, and problem solving skills. This class is designed to teach the fundamentals of acting for the stage of life. If you have to give speeches, presentations, going on interviews or would like to do some acting this is the workshop for you. (available for all age groups)

Beginning - Intermediate Acting

This class is designed to teach actors the fundamentals of acting for the stage. Techniques include, voice projection, character development and presentation and timing. (available for all age groups)

Vocal Expression for Actors

Vocal Expression is built on the fundamental principle that the voice is our most dynamic vehicle for both expression of the self and connection to others. Through bodywork and emotion memory exercises, visualization and dynamic use of words, we free the defended voice and locate the full-bodied voice. This is a unique program with vocal exercises that range from the time-tested to the cutting-edge.

Our program works from the inside out. It's the difference between an affectation and being real. The goal is the organic voice in action, language-solid, confident and compelling. The impact is profound. Let your voice out, and you invite the whole world in.

Introduction to Vocal Expression

Pinpoint the vocal habits holding back your voice. Identify and work to release the blocks preventing full expression with bodywork, emotion memory exercises, visualization and dynamic use of words. Awaken your intuitive sense of language through investigation of sounds and text. Develop and maintain its strength, subtlety, richness and spontaneity.

Advanced Vocal Expression Training
